Each Session Combines My Three Pillars

Somatic Psychology
Cranial Sacral Therapy
Skilled Body Work

My journey into psychology began in 1992 through the study of Jungian Psychology, where I became deeply inspired by archetypes, patterns of human behavior, and the collective stories that shape our lives. This early exploration awakened a lifelong passion for understanding the psyche, the deeper self, and the pathways of healing.

By 1996, I was working professionally as an Astrological Coach, a path that naturally led me into academic study, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Transpersonal Psychology in the late 1990s.

My studies deepened further from 2003–2005 when I completed a Master’s degree in Somatic Psychology, with an emphasis in Pre- and Perinatal Psychology—the study of how our earliest experiences shape emotional, psychological, and relational patterns throughout life.Somatic Psychology recognizes what is now becoming widely understood: the body and mind experience life together.

Emotions, trauma, stress, and healing are not held only in thoughts — they are carried and processed through the whole being. My training also includes study with one of the founders of Hakomi Institute, a profound mindfulness-based somatic therapy rooted in Buddhist principles of compassion, presence, and deep listening. This approach has greatly influenced how I work. (My wife is also an international trainer in Hakomi, further enriching the depth of this work in our lives.)

What makes my sessions unique is the integration of advanced bodywork, craniosacral therapy, and skilled therapeutic dialogue. It is rare to find hands-on healing work combined with graduate-level psychological training. Through touch, presence, and attuned conversation, I help clients access deeper awareness, unwind held stress and trauma, and reconnect with a more grounded, centered, and whole version of themselves.

Every Story and experience we go through lands in our mind and body.  Healing and peace are rarely found without an embodied experience of in both realms.

I began studying Craniosacral Therapy in 2000, inspired by a profoundly transformative session that showed me the healing potential of this work. Since then, I have devoted decades to advanced training, including a three-year master’s-level program with renowned teacher Michael Shea, followed by specialized training in Trauma & Craniosacral Therapy and Pediatric Craniosacral work. I have also taught Craniosacral Therapy trainings and developed a 60+ page introductory workbook to support students in learning this healing art.

Developed by osteopathic physicians over 100 years ago, Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on modality that uses sustained, still touch to support the body’s natural healing processes. Unlike massage, its power lies in subtlety—creating deep relaxation, calming the nervous system, and allowing the body to release held patterns while restoring healthier balance.

At its core, Craniosacral Therapy works directly with the nervous system. Rather than fighting symptoms, it supports the body’s inherent health and intelligence, helping resolve the deeper layers of stress, trauma, and imbalance that may be blocking wellness. The guiding principle of this work is simple: health is always present within you—it simply may need support to emerge.

Craniosacral Therapy can be beneficial for:
Chronic stress and nervous system overwhelm
Trauma recovery and emotional healing
Headaches and migraines
Chronic pain and tension patterns
Anxiety and depression
Sleep disturbances and fatigue
Immune system support
Grief, emotional loss, and life transitions
Restoring resilience, regulation, and healthier patterns

Above all, Craniosacral Therapy is a safe, deeply restorative approach that helps you reconnect with your body’s innate capacity to heal, regulate, and return to wholeness. But more than anything in our fast paced world, we need to slow down to heal, integrate, or make changes.

I have been practicing bodywork and therapeutic healing for over 25 years. My formal training began at Arizona School of Integrative Studies near Sedona, Arizona in 2001–2002, and has continued through advanced study in Thai Massage, myofascial work, structural bodywork, and mentorship with master practitioners trained in the Ida Rolf tradition. My work integrates elements of Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Sports Massage, Thai Massage, and Swedish Massage into a highly intuitive, therapeutic approach.

After 25 years, I have realized that slow conscious bodywork is way to go.  My intention is always to find the precise touch, pressure, and pacing your body responds to—creating an experience that is both deeply healing and profoundly relaxing. Sessions are typically done with clients wearing comfortable clothing, allowing for movement, stretching, and body positioning that supports more effective therapeutic work than traditional table massage alone.

I often begin by working with the neck, occipital region, shoulders, and upper body—key areas where stress, tension, and nervous system overload tend to accumulate. Releasing these areas can create a powerful entry point into relaxation, regulation, and deeper healing throughout the whole body. Plus almost everyone enjoys great neck and shoulder work.

From there, sessions become a personalized blend of therapeutic massage, mindful stretching, and Craniosacral Therapy. At times, deeper focused work is needed; yet often the greatest results come not from force, but from skillful presence, precision of touch, and working with the body’s natural intelligence.

Clients frequently comment on the warmth, sensitivity, and calming quality of my hands.I also value collaboration in each session and encourage awareness and breathing to support the changes to the physiology and the emotions behind them. Toward the close of our time together, I check in to ensure we address any areas needing additional attention, so you leave feeling complete,
